Q: "What makes your studio different from others?"

A: We strive to offer a completely custom experience for each client! We offer a boutique style professional storefront studio in Owensboro, KY. The studio is fully furnished and allows us to photograph your session with our wide variety of props and sets, have a Gallery Premiere area for you to view and order, and see sample products and prints to help you decide! We offer a changing station for newborns and babies, stocked with diapers and baby wipes for our little clients, as well as a nursing/feeding room for your privacy! We keep snacks on hand for babies and toddlers. For the parents, we offer complimentary coffee & water during your session. Along with that, we have quite the selection of high end props, hats, headbands/tiebacks, rompers ect, and are always adding more!

 

Q: "What is your style?"

A: Our style focuses on the timeless raw emotion and the sweet innocence through our natural, warm feel focusing on the simple neutrals, pastels and earth tones that create a timeless look in every image.

 

Q: "Do you have the hats and props or do I need to bring my own things for a session?"

A: Yes, we have them! Clients are usually shocked at the amount of hats, sets, diaper covers and unique props that we have for you! I feel as a full-service boutique studio, my clients should be able to walk in with just the baby, and I should have the rest for a full session! Therefore, we do!! We have a wall full of hats for girls and boys, diaper cover sets, bows for girls, ties for boys, a variety of backdrops and many many unique props. Nearly everything seen in our images, belongs to our studio and is there for you to use for YOUR session!

 

Q: "Can we bring a few of our own items to incorporate into the session?"

A: Absolutely! Although I have everything needed for a session and it is not required, I do love when clients bring in items that are sentimental to them or involve their career or hobbies! It is so fun to tie those items into the session, so you are welcome to bring any personal items you'd like used in the images! Feel free to ask us for ideas!

 

Q: "Will I get digitals or do you offer prints?"

A: We offer both! While there are many photographers who will take pictures and then leave you to figure things out on your own, I am a full-time, full-service professional. We highly recommend investing in professional artwork, because digital files will sit on your computer and never reach their full potential. Clients absolutely LOVE our mounted prints & canvas' as well! I professionally edit to optimize for prints, and give my clients a full custom experience beginning to end, from the session to the boutique packaging style you will receive your high end prints! Having said that, we DO offer digital files with print release in our Collections, and they are also available to purchase A La Carte after a minimum order.

 

Q: "How can I share my images on social media, like Facebook?"

A: In our Collections, we offer Web Ready Images! Most clients when they ask for a CD of the images, what they really want it for is sharing them on the web! In each of our collections, you get the Web Ready Images of those poses ordered! These are a low res watermarked file, not for printing, but allows you to post and share on your facebook/instragram/social media, email to friends and family, and have that low res digital file of your favorite images! Clients also love the DVD slideshow of all images from the session! They are a great way to have all images without a print of each one.

 

Q: "Can you send me your pricing?"

A: We would love to discuss pricing with you! Please see "Investment"; "Portrait Investment" for Session Fee's and what clients can expect to invest on a portrait order. Orders vary depending on each clients wants along with the session type. We have a variety of options and would love to go over any investment questions. Please feel free to set up a phone consultation with us so that we may answer any investment questions or click the 'Contact Us' tab to shoot us an email! We also offer payment plans as well to fit each clients needs!

 

Q: "When I place my order, is the total due upfront?"

A: Yes. When you come in the studio for your Galley Premiere/ordering session, we create your order and the total is due to place the order. However, we do offer payment plans to fit any budget, up to 3 months! We accept cash, check or credit card for payment.

 

Q: "How far in advance should I book my session?"

A: For Newborns, we ask that you try to book your newborn session as early as possible in the pregnancy. We add you to the schedule with your due date, and then once baby makes his/her debut, we finalize a date/time that works for you in the recommended age range. Newborn sessions require prep/planning, and we book a 3 hour time slot in our schedule for these. By booking in advance before baby arrives, this allows us to have you on the schedule with a tentative time frame so that we are aware to leave extra room in the schedule!

 

For all other portrait sessions, we do have some clients book 6+ months in advance, therefore it's never too early to get on the schedule, especially if a weekend session is desired!
